The winds of change are closing in.

Well. I've landed a job. I'm a junior camp counselor for second grade girls, and they love the stories I've started to tell. This includes "The Pig Who Jumped Over the Sty" (family story), "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" (which I call "Moon Princess"), "Alibaba and the Forty Thieves," "The Three Princes," and a VERY kiddied-down version of "Tam Lin" that does not have sex and pregnancy and such in it.

I'm now getting paid. I've discovered: I don't think I'm ever going to reproduce; I hate not making my own decisions and being towards the bottom of this whole hierarchy thing; I never realized how much I enjoy power; managing groups of young children is a skill (and a hard to learn one at that).

Oh! Oh! I HAVE OFFICIALLY GRADUATED HIGH SCHOOL AND FINISHED MY FIRST TWO YEARS OF COLLEGE. HELL YES.
I graduated:
-in the top ten percent of my class (we technically don't rank, so this is other schools' equivalent to top ten in rank)
-with an National Honor Society stole
-with a gold honors cord that signifies I received a 3.75 GPA or higher (everyone in my class graduated with this)
-with a silver cord representing I earned at least 250 or more service hours
-earning an Associates of Arts degree with Highest Honors

Okay, I think I'm done bragging. I'm just very happy.

I also recently received the book "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell and would highly recommend it to anyone. It's very interesting. I also recently got a reference book to fantasy creatures, so that's nice.

Um, Happy Fourth of July everybody!

To be honest? I had no idea. Then again, I wasn't really trying. Laziness and all that. ^^;

Haha, it's quite alright. It really wasn't that good of a riddle/poem anyways. I just needed to get that out of my head.
